FINALLY, we can sleep a little easier at night knowing for sure that SBTRKT has a new album on the way *fluffs pillows*. It’s been announced that the new project, entitled Wonder Where We Land will be released on September 22nd with a UK tour kicking off a few days later.
Remember the unintrusive, highly elusive ‘Majid Jordan' that popped up outta nowhere and quietly did their thing on Drizzy's - Hold On We’re Going Home last year? Yep, they’re back with their second solo project since joining camp OVO Sound.

Last I knew of Ms. Aiko was in the flesh at Coachella over Easter, but this time she’s armed with new music from her forthcoming debut album, Souled Out. Jhené has hooked up again with Cocaine 80s (definitely James Fauntleroy throwing in some signature harmonies back there), and released a snippet of it via a very cool animation on her Insta a few days ago.

Oiii, true to the title, this is so so good. London singer-songwriter Nao has again joined forces with A.K. Paul - singer-songwriter, producer and brother of none other than the ever elusive Jai Paul. Even if you don’t recognise the name, you’ve probably enjoyed more of A.K Paul’s work than you realise via Jessie Ware, Sam Smith, Jai Paul, Emeli Sandè etc.

Yaaay, she’s back (*does the dougie*). It’s been over two years since the release of Running, and almost two years since her debut album Devotion. In that time Jessie Ware captured our hearts and ears with her voice, her style and her charm, and did more than enough to prove she could stand on her own, after years of providing vocals for the likes of SBTRKT & Joker.

The revival of the UKG-infused-house-slash-pop movement continues on strong, as Mr Uzo Emenike aka MNEK introduces a second single to the world.
Premiered on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show last Friday, the follow up to Every Little Word, starts as what sounds like a downtempo, piano-led acoustic, before the beat and the synths are introduced, with the crescendo ending up in an all out rave.

Saturday 14th June sees a new club night launch in London town; EDIT. It’s all about partying to forward-thinking, future-focused and alternative sounds (think AllAboutGoodMusic Radio but with a whole ‘eap of rum and a room full of skankers).

The album will be with us in a few weeks and I get a little more intrigued slash excited with every release, what the full body of work will feel like.
Face Again is How To Dress Well's third release following on from Repeat Pleasure. The juxtaposition between the dark, haunting, bass-led sections and the vulnerable stripped back piano-led vocals sound wonderful, and continue to illustrate the layers and depths of his music.
There’s also visuals to accompany the track, described as part II of the trilogy for the album, and directed by Johannes Greves Muskat.
